These terms apply when you use the Scanoma app and scanoma.com (together, "Scanoma"). Scanoma is run by Scanoma Pty Ltd (ABN 22 635 613 302), Perth, Western Australia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Scanoma, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Scanoma.
Scanoma lets you photograph a mole or skin spot and send it, with your answers to a few questions, for review. Registered doctors, including dermatologists and skin cancer doctors, review your photo and send you a written medical opinion, usually within hours. The doctors are independent medical practitioners who use the Scanoma platform. Scanoma also offers free tools such as Mole Mapper, which helps you track your spots over time.
A review by photo is a medical opinion, not a full examination. Some spots need to be seen in person, and a definite diagnosis can need a biopsy. The doctor will tell you if your spot should be seen in person. Please keep seeing your own doctor or a local specialist as you normally would, and don't delay seeing someone in person because of an opinion from Scanoma.
Scanoma is not for emergencies. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
You must be 18 or older to create a Scanoma account.
The price is shown before you pay, and that is the price you pay: one fee per review, no subscription. Prices can differ by country. If a review isn't possible (for example, the photo is too blurry), you can retake it at no cost. See our Refund Policy for when and how we refund.
Keep your login details private. Don't misuse Scanoma, interfere with how it works, or use bots or automation with it. We may close accounts that do, and accounts that have been inactive for a long time.

The app, website, text, logos and designs belong to Scanoma or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal use, but please don't copy, republish or sell them without our permission.
We work hard to keep Scanoma accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law and the consumer laws of your country. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about Scanoma is limited to the amount you paid for the review the claim relates to.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make an important change, we'll tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows the latest version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. If you live elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live.
